“As a trained educator, I was looking at alternative mediums to teach concepts. This led me to use Storytelling as a non didactic tool.  My journey began in 1996 when I experimented with puppets to tell the story of Melody and Rhythm in Indian Classical Music.”

“Puppetry calls for a willing suspension of disbelief and stories give us vicarious experience; inviting us to step into the shoes of others. This combination, I discovered was a win win situation. This was the ‘Aha’ moment for me! To my delight, I discovered the most compelling way to persuade people is by uniting an idea with a strong emotion. The storyteller in me was born! Storytelling became the vital tool to cement information in the minds of listeners. Consequently storytelling as a teaching technique across the school curriculum gained momentum and became an invaluable tool!”

“If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten.”
